The Tucson Shambhala Meditation Center offers drop-in, by-donation public meditation sessions. The silent, sitting meditation is typically hosted by a timekeeper and is interspersed with brief periods of walking meditation. Everyone is welcome.
Some of our open sittings begin and close with chants, and you are welcome to listen or join in. These chants are in English and invoke the lineage of teachers as well as the view of Basic Goodness and Enlightened Society to which we aspire.
Public Sitting is offered on the following days:
Tuesdays (except first Tuesday): 6:30 – 7:30PM
Fridays: 10:00 – 11:00AM
Sundays: 9:00 – 10:45AM

By donation. No registration necessary. Come for all or for part of the sitting period.
